Tony DeRigo began working on art related projects as a child and on through high school. At the suggestion of a friend, Tony's interest turned to tattooing and he began serving an apprenticeship with a local tattoo artist. On September 27, 1994, Tony opened his own shop with the founding of Chronic Tattoo in Elyria, Ohio. We visited with Tony recently, and listened as he provided this overview of Chronic Tattoo's services;

Chronic Tattoo offers a full line of high quality tattoos ranging from small and delicate to full bodies, sleeves, and backs. With our staff of four tattoo artists there is nothing we cannot do. We also offer body piercing and our artistic abilities enable us to provide distinctive logo design, custom t-shirts, and business cards for our customers, as well.

My own specialty is large, Japanese tattooing, but collectively our staff brings over forty years of experience to the table that includes all sizes and styles. While we have a large selection of pre-set designs and the ability to work from your design, our largest graphic library is the mental library of images in our minds of all the things we have seen, drawn, and painted throughout the years. We utilize these mental images as our springboard to create unique tattoos that will remain readable for years into the future. It is this extensive experience that places us in a completely different league than our competition.
