Roberto (Bob) F. Cobos began his insurance career in 1975 when he was hired by an insurance agency to write life insurance policies. In 1978 he moved to another company where he obtained his license property/casualty insurance, as well as annuities. He joined Jim Crowell in 1980 to establish Crowell Cobos & Co. in downtown Elyria, and in 1980 he and Jim combined their agency with Bob Nuhn's agency on Griswold Road forming Crowell, Cobos and Nuhn. When Jim Crowell retired, the agency was renamed Cobos Insurance Center where Bob and his three daughters have since been specializing in taking the mystery out of insurance.
