Jill and Jerry Harmon have been pet lovers their entire lives and share a common desire to help other people with their pets. Raising and showing Shetland Sheep Dogs for ten years, Jill has provided pet and obedience training, dabbled in agility training, and helped a friend groom dogs. Dogs On The Go provide customized pet sitting and pet care services to fit most of your pet care needs. We care for any type of household pet, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. Our services range from pet sitting to mid-day dog walks, ten minute potty breaks for new puppies, puppy daycare, overnight pet sitting in your home, Bed & Biscuit overnights in our home, pet taxi service, pet errands, yard waste clean-up, house sitting, and basic obedience training including housebreaking, socialization, and walking on leash. Pets are an important part of the family and today's hectic lifestyles frequently do not leave time for pets to get all the love and attention they need and deserve. We offer very flexible scheduling, are available 365 days a year, and can handle last minute requests with grace and ease.

Our standard thirty minute in-home visit for dogs includes promptly taking them outside into their fenced yard or on a leash before coming back inside to be fed and given fresh water and treats. For cats we will feed the cat according to your instructions, give them fresh water, and scoop the litter pan and tidy up around the pan area. While we are in your home we will also bring in the mail and newspaper, adjust the lights and draperies, turn on or off the radio or television, and take out the trash to give your home a lived-in look. At the end of each visit we will leave a journal of how our visit went.

When you are out of town Dogs On The Go will ensure your pets get the exercise and attention they need all in the comfort and security of your own home. No longer will you have to put your pets through a time consuming and sometimes traumatic trip to the kennel where they can become stressed or exposed to other animals that may carry illness. Guests have the roam of our house, a large fenced yard for playtime, and the opportunity to socialize with other dogs.
